Welcome to the HashYields Blog
The HashYields database has always been about one thing: real numbers from real runs. No guesswork, no bro science — just verified yield data from producers who actually wash hash for a living.
Now we're taking it further.
Straight From the Lab
We're launching a series of in-depth interviews with some of the best hash makers in the world. The people behind the melt, the people who've dialed in their processes over hundreds of washes and thousands of hours in the lab.
We want to know what actually works.
What genetics are they hunting? What made them drop a cut they loved? How did they figure out that one tweak to their wash process that changed everything? What does their SOP look like on day one of a new pheno hunt versus a proven production run?
These aren't surface-level conversations. We're going deep into the details that most people keep behind closed doors — the failures, the surprises, the little things that separate a good wash from a great one.
What to Expect
This blog will cover the ground between the data points. The HashYields database tells you what a strain yielded. The blog will tell you why — and what the person who washed it learned along the way.
Topics we'll be getting into:
- Lab interviews — Long-form conversations with elite hash makers about their processes, their genetics programs, and the lessons they've learned the hard way
- Genetic deep-dives — What makes certain cultivars exceptional for hash production, and how the best breeders and pheno hunters are selecting for it
- Process breakdowns — Real SOPs, real techniques, real results from people producing at the highest level
- Yield analysis — Pulling insights from the HashYields database to show trends, outliers, and what the numbers actually mean in practice
This Is Just the Beginning
If you're a hash maker, a breeder, a processor, or just someone who cares about the craft — this is your spot. We're building something here, and the people doing the best work in this space are going to help us do it.
Stay tuned. First interviews are coming soon.
